The Air Force turntables are highly acclaimed for their innovative design ideas, unique construction and core “air” technologies, all developed to accomplish their goal of realizing ideal analog reproduction. To attain the ideal analog reproduction TechDAS’s engineers approach it in the same way a lacquer disc is produced. When the lathe carves a groove into a lacquer disc, the disc is held down onto the platter using a vacuum to reduce wow and flutter, any degradation of sound quality, and also increases the signal to noise ratio. To re-enact the same status in record playback, all the models of the Air Force turntables feature a vacuum LP hold-down. TechDAS‘s goal is to precisely extract and reproduce all information embedded in the groove, with nothing added or sacrificed.

The TechDAS Air Force One Premium analog turntable by ushers in exquisite design concept to positively exploit the aerodynamic force equivalent to sound energy rather than springs or buffer materials. It is the ultimate mechanism based on a vibration damping design using Air Force and utilizes only high-precision finished parts with enough mass to completely avoid any “color” to the sound, nothing is added or removed. Through the aerodynamic instrumentality of Air Force, the real magnitude and essence of ultimate analog playback is now a reality. Adverse effects caused by various obstructive oscillations, which used to be arch-nemesis of analog turntables has been thoroughly wiped out.

Air Force III Premium S
Building on the success of their hugely popular previous version, the TechDAS Air Force III Premium S features a newly designed suspension, which enhance the flexibility of installation and improve sound performance by achieving higher vibration isolation. And as the weight and sound of an analog turntable have a strong correlation, the design team chose to implement gunmetal for the platter of this model. This material is an alloy of copper and tin and was often used for audio equipment in the heyday of analog audio, which adds a subtle glow is added to the sound.
As a result of the increase in total weight, an extended frequency range is delivered and dynamics are noticeably enhanced. At the same time it has achieved a significantly lower noise floor thanks to the use of the TechDAS air bearing.

Air Force V Premium
TechDAS push back the boundaries of design with the Air Force V Premium, successfully preserving all Air Force technologies in their most affordable model.
The Air Force V Premium has been developed to deliver another dimension in analog sound, and at the same time be accessible to more analog enthusiasts. The chassis is as compact in size as the Air Force III Premium, and by elaborately reducing motor vibration they have achieved a successful integration of the motor in the plinth. The result is an even more compact turntable without a separate motor unit that can be fitted with up to four tonearms.
